Senior Corps Revised Grant Application –
Final Public Comment Period Open – Closes March 31, 2005

Senior Corps is in the final stage of revising its eGrants compatible Grant Application and Application Instructions.

Changes proposed in this version are primarily designed to:

  • Streamline and clarify instructions based on feedback received by Senior Corps grantees
  • Strengthen the Work Plan sections related to "Performance Measures" and "Non-Impact Volunteers in RSVP"
  • Adjust Budget Instructions to reflect regulations changes
  • Add DUNS number as a required field

Service Categories
Updated Service Categories for grantees to use to categorize volunteer activities and the needs they meet. This list is used by all programs administered by the Corporation for National and Community Service. This list is also used in the Corporation’s eGrants system. For Senior Corps grantees, this list of Service Codes replaces the previous Basic Human Needs Codes (BHN) list
