Hurricane Volunteer Support Fund
In the wake of the recent hurricanes, the Corporation is coordinating volunteers to assist with repair and relief efforts in areas affected by this devastating storm. Your donation will support volunteers in providing food and shelter, managing donations, helping victims get necessary assistance, and long-term rebuilding efforts.

Collaborations in Promoting Volunteering

Senior Corps works with thousands of nonprofit organizations and local agencies—both secular and faith-based—to promote service opportunities for older Americans. Using Senior Corps volunteers helps these organizations meet their core missions. Senior Corps volunteers not only help reduce the cost of service, they provide invaluable skills and experience along with their dedication and concern for their communities.

Here are some of the ways Senior Corps can work with your organization:

  • Help your organization make contact with Senior Corps grantees for local collaborations of all types
  • Help your organization to serve as a placement site, or “volunteer station“ for Senior Corps volunteers
  • Help you to promote and highlight your volunteer opportunities through the Senior Corps online recruitment and matching system
  • Help older adults find volunteer opportunities of their own in the Senior Corps web-based recruitment system

Let Senior Corps help your organization strengthen its capacity to deliver quality services in your community.

Corporate Collaborations

The Corporation for National & Community Service, Senior Corps’ parent organization, also collaborates with private organizations to provide support for community initiatives that help meet the needs of communities and engage Americans in service.
