I am 73, my husband is 72. We both worked our whole lives and get ss. I am wondering if I could get more if I went on his. He gets about $500 more a month than I did. As you know women were always paid less than men. If a divorced woman that never worked or paid in can get her x's ss and I worked my whole life and can't get some of my husbands that is not fair. Someone that never worked should and didn't pay into it shouldn't get it just for reaching a certain age.
