I would think that the local community senior centers would know about Volunteer programs..or have posted bulletin boards pertaining to needed Help.
Also contact your local Superintendents office of schools in your district and ask if they have any programs you might inquire with. If not, you could start a program yourself. Get the details on building a Volunteer not for profit business and bring on good volunteers. Sometimes you have to create opportunities as they may not already be in place. In CT you can contact your churches, or neighborhood Community centers, or YMCA’s and look for a way to volunteer.
