SS Beneficiaries who are dependents of other SS account holders, such as wives and widows, should be cross referenced with their own SS numbers so that it is not possible for fraudsters to pass off those dependents as single individuals in the area of probates and trusts, or to the IRS, or to charities, as if the funds they access belonged to them, rather than as beneficiaries of master trust accounts, etc. This seems done far more often than not, causing uncommon numbers of family asset problems and associated theft frauds.
